In the meantime, Philip seems to be enjoying school and riding on the bus. His bus driver and helper are very sweet ladies. You can tell they love what they do. They were interacting with him the whole time I was present. Yesterday, he looked at a picture of my dad and mom and said, "Pop" on his own without coaching. My dad liked that. Lord willing, he gets to see them on Friday. We are excited
I don't have much time but I wanted to post to let you know we are still waiting. We actually received the okay from the doctor (his ketone levels were low) on Monday. At her request, the dietician here would confer with the dietician in Dallas and then give us our new ratio and meal plans. You can see with both people involved it will take just a little longer. We happen to know things are very busy in Dallas on Tuesday so we knew not to expect a call then.
