We are now getting ready for his EEG study on Monday. As I've already said, we hope to gain useful information from this testing next week. It comes at a good time because the semester at Heartland Baptist Bible College (my husband's work) has not started yet and things aren't quite as busy. An adult has to be present in the room with Philip at all times and he won't be able to leave the room. He will be monitored with the wires like a typical EEG but also video monitored so they can reference a video, as well. We aren't sure of all the specifics of testing/monitoring but will know on Monday. We are scheduled to arrive there at noon. Please pray with us that the testing will go well, that they can gather all the information they need, and that Philip will be content to stay in one place for possibly up to 6 days. :) We appreciate your prayers! We have prayed that God will guide the physicians who are treating and evaluating Philip and trust Him that this situation will be no different. Lord willing, we'll be posting some updates next week.
We've been enjoying time with family and are just now getting back into routine. It's a little easier to write a post when life gets back to normal. Also, we haven't experienced a lot of changes in the last week or so. Philip had some very good days right around Christmas and has been more or less maintaining. We haven't changed his medicine and the seizure activity has been about the same.
