As it stands now, they will at least keep him admitted through tomorrow. They’ll reevaluate each day when they think he’ll get to go home based on when the seizures are brought under control for a full 24 hours.
When Philip woke up about 2pm he started seizing again. His regular meds didn’t stop the seizing so over the past couple hours they have administered several additional doses of medications in an attempt to stop the seizing. These doses have helped some and he has had several instances of 15-20 seconds of resting quietly, but that is not an acceptable length of time to be stopped from seizing given the medications that he has been given. As of the time of this post he is being given a dose of yet another medication to try to bring the seizures under control. If this doesn’t work they will administer further doses as needed.
As it stands now, they will at least keep him admitted through tomorrow. They’ll reevaluate each day when they think he’ll get to go home based on when the seizures are brought under control for a full 24 hours. Comments are closed.
