Our hope is that we can see enough gradual change to get him more active and then see his body use its calories and produce ketones in a stronger, more consistent level. Then we'll see the best seizure control. Now it will just be waiting to see the change that comes.
One praise--he seems to be sleeping better. A couple of times this week he slept until 7 am. We haven't really seen that in well over a year. It's a blessing that I don't take for granted. In fact, we're all sleeping better because Ethan is sleeping all night as well now. I think we can handle so much more when we're all well rested.
I'm ready for fall--the cooler weather, the smells and tastes of fall. It's my favorite season and I hope to enjoy it, indoors and outdoors. I hope you're ready to enjoy it, too! Praise the Lord that we can just keep going on, rejoicing and being thankful in whatever He brings our way. That's the newest lesson the Lord is teaching me-- to be thankful in all things. Not just to be thankful for His presence or blessings in this situation but for this situation. I am asking Him to help me cultivate that heart. I know it's not something I can do on my own.
Thanks for your continued prayers for our family.
