Everything else is fairly the same as last week. The seizures are still present and fairly consistent. We have the CT scan tomorrow and follow up appointments with the neurosurgeon and epileptologist. Please pray for wisdom for us and the epileptologist to determine a plan of action that will be best for Philip. It's hard to play a guessing game with medicines or treatments. We trust the Lord will guide us to the right solution. We want to eliminate the tremors and, ultimately, the seizures with the least amount of negative side effects.
Philip went back to occupational and speech therapy today. Both therapists were pleased with his effort today. The OT says she actually thinks he is showing more motor planning than the last time she saw him. Of course, he is not walking but he wasn't right after the holidays and before the hospital stay. He did well at his table activities which included sorting shapes. His speech therapist could tell the difference with his mouth coordination and strength but wasn't concerned overall with his ability to drink. She said it wasn't pretty but he was getting it done. She also said he used lots of spontaneous words today.
