Thanks for praying for him and us.
The procedure went well. His doctor said the switch to the mic-key button was very easy. He didn't like coming out of anesthesia but he usually doesn't. We arrived home around 12:30. He is doing fine now. Actually, he has a little more energy probably because he got a REALLY good nap. We learned about the mic-key button and it seems really easy and much cleaner and practical than the PEG which was what we were expecting. We'll have to have a few days to make it part of our routine as it is slightly different but it won't take much time at all. He does still show signs of esophagitis so we will wait for the actual biopsy results and decide what changes to make to remedy that.
