One thing that was very noticeable last night was all the words he was saying. Drew and Abby had gotten him to say so many while we were gone and he continued when we got home. Most of them were not spontaneous. He was repeating or responding to us when we asked him to say something but he could say almost all that we asked or he tried really hard until he got part of the word out. He was having fun with it. He was enunciating very clearly for the most part and he hasn't been able to do that for quite a while. We can't tell from checking his ketones that they are necessarily rising significantly but maybe we are on a slow rise. It is good to see him so happy every once in a while.
Today has been a fine day but definitely not as good as yesterday. He didn't have school today due to district scheduled parent-teacher conferences. We got out the mega bloks this morning and he was able to build a few on the mega blok table. That's good for him. I think the last time we tried it he was very uncoordinated and got very frustrated quickly. He got tired before lunch this morning so he was a little cranky for a few minutes, but he was happy when Daddy came home for lunch and smiled and laughed with him. Hopefully, his evening will go as well as last night. One plus for him--it is football season again.
